Cape Mediation is now offering all of our services remotely by telephone conference or video conference. At the present time we do not offer our Mediation or Conciliation services in-person.
Our remote Mediation and Conciliation services allow you the same opportunity to reach an agreement offered in our in-person programs. During the process, with the help of our experienced Remote Mediators and Conciliators, you will have the opportunity to discuss what is important to you.
Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process that empowers you to make confident decisions about issues that shape your life and that can de-escalate, manage, and resolve conflicts. It is a win-win process built on communication and cooperation.
Though you ultimately control the outcome, you are guided by a qualified mediator through a clear, step-by-step process:
- Everyone involved comes together to discuss the situation.
- The mediator meets individually with each person involved to uncover what’s most important to them and to explore solutions.
- Everyone reconvenes to write up the necessary agreements.
Who are Mediators?
Mediators are neutral third parties. They don’t take sides, decide who’s right or wrong, or give advice. All Cape Mediation mediators have completed training approved by the Massachusetts Bar Association.
