  • Robust Remote Dispute Resolution Program Developed and Launched
  • Remote Landlord-Tenant Dispute Resolution Program for Cape Cod Developed and Launched in Three Cape Cod Courts
  • Prisoner Re-entry Mediation Program and Youth Mediation Program in Development Funded By Massachusetts Office of Public Collaboration
  • Remote Mediation Training Program in Development
  • Relaunched Small Business Partnership Program

 

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis via video conference, typically for one to two hours.    Expectation of minimum commitment for Board members is approximately 4 to 6 hours per month.

 

New Board Members Sought

In looking to the future, the Board is seeking to add Board members who can bring a diversity of perspective, as well as additional expertise and resources to support current programming and future growth.

 

Board Member Responsibilities

  • To have a genuine commitment to Cape Mediation’s mission, and become knowledgeable about the way it functions – its uniqueness, strengths and needs.
  • To prepare for, regularly attend, and actively participate in Board meetings
  • To be an ambassador, both in increasing awareness of Cape Mediation among community, business and government leaders – and bringing to Cape Mediation information from its various constituencies that is vital for planning
  • To be available for consultation and willing to use expertise that will enhance Cape Mediation
  • To assist staff in fund raising, to the extend feasible
